Virginia Delgado

Managing director

Virginia Delgado is a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR specialist in People Management, a qualified teacher, and Managing Director of Delgado HR, with over 15 years of experience in education, employee management, and complex care HR. Her early career in education provided a strong foundation in leadership, organisational effectiveness and stakeholder engagement, forming the basis of her transition into the health and social care sector.
Over the past five years, Virginia has held responsibility for managing and supporting care teams across complex care settings, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and high standards of workforce performance. Her leadership style is defined by clarity, structure and professionalism, coupled with a commitment to person-centred practice.
As a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), she brings recognised expertise in people management, employee relations and organisational development. Her work is guided by established HR standards, sector-specific best practice and rigorous ethical principles.
Virginia combines strategic insight with a people-centred approach, supporting Deputies, Case Managers and family employers to strengthen HR systems, embed effective processes and maintain stable, high-performing care teams.
Virginia graduated in Education from the University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2013. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan, holding a Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English language.
 
 
 
 


Rós Ni Dhubháin

Volunteer Adviser

Rós is a Volunteer Adviser with Delgado HR, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience to her work with families engaging the firm’s services.

She is a qualified solicitor practising corporate law, with experience advising on governance, compliance and strategic decision-making. Alongside her legal career, Rós is also a mother to four children, two of whom have complex needs requiring 24/7 care.

Drawing on her personal experience of building and managing care teams, Rós provides practical support and guidance to families working with Delgado HR who are at the early stages of setting up care arrangements. She understands first-hand the emotional, logistical and practical challenges involved and is committed to helping families establish sustainable, well-structured care teams tailored to their individual circumstances.

Rós undertakes this advisory role on a voluntary, pro bono (free of charge) basis, as part of her commitment to supporting families through the process of building effective and compassionate care structures.


Amy Mooney

HR Administrator

Amy Mooney is the HR Administrator at Delgado HR and an integral member of our team. She brings extensive experience in the care sector, having worked in childcare since 2015 and successfully managed a nursery room, overseeing daily routines, safeguarding, and parent communication.

Amy has also worked as part of a dedicated care team supporting a child with complex needs, giving her valuable insight into person-centred care and team coordination. She holds NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare, along with First Aid and Child Protection training.

At Delgado HR, Amy supports recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration, bringing organisation, empathy, and reliability to everything she does.
